SUPEREGO

The 5-piece deliver experimental, electronically influenced, drum-driven tracks with thoughtful and often aggressive bars and glitchy sax lines. Having shared stages with the likes of Midnight Oil, Blackalicious, Remi, Sampa The Great, as well as having collaborated with imbi the girl on their track ‘i used to’.

Brought together through their love of hip-hop production and unique live music, SUPEREGO have quickly gained a reputation around Australia for their energetic and enigmatic live show. The band speak to the black experience in a predominantly white Australia, as well as the unique social and individual challenges we face in the modern world. SUPEREGO draw upon an array of influences from the US underground hip-hop scene, to UK experimental pop.
